Mannik is a pie based on semolina. It is kneaded with kefir, as in this recipe, milk, yogurt and even water. The baked goods are very soft and tender, with a porous structure. To diversify the taste and add some piquancy, raisins, poppy seeds, berries and fruits are added to the dough. Try it!

Ingredients:

Kefir - 1 glass

Flour - 1 glass

Semolina - 1 glass

Sugar - 1 glass

Vanilla sugar - 8 g.

Baking powder - 1 tsp

Chicken egg - 2 pcs.

Butter - 50 g.

Apple - 1-2 pcs.

Step by step recipe:

1. To prepare manna on kefir with apples, prepare the necessary set of ingredients. Remove kefir from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes room temperature. The fat content of the fermented milk product in this recipe does not play a very important role, so you can choose it to suit your taste. Sift flour with baking powder several times through a fine sieve. Choose apples that are dense, sour - they are in perfect harmony with sweet dough. You will also need a 200 ml glass.

2. Pour the semolina into a bowl with large sides. Pour in kefir, stir and leave for 30 minutes to swell the semolina.

3. Separately, in a bowl or blender bowl, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until light, fluffy.

4. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave, let it cool.

5. Transfer the egg-sugar mixture and butter to a bowl with swollen semolina. Mix well.

6. Stir in the sifted flour and baking powder and use a silicone spatula to knead the dough.

7. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. There are recipes where they are simply grated. The choice is yours.

8. Grease a baking dish with butter or cover with parchment. When using silicone molds, preliminary preparation is not required. Transfer the dough to a container and flatten.

9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the manna until a beautiful golden color for 45-50 minutes. You can check the readiness of the baking with a wooden skewer. Pierce semolina pie with it, if the skewer is dry - it is ready, you can get it out.

10. Transfer the baked goods to a wire rack and let cool completely. The grate is needed so that the bottom of the cake does not get wet.

11. Delicious, soft and fragrant manna with apples, mixed with kefir, is ready.

Serve chilled to the table. Before serving, cut it into portions and make an aromatic tea. A glass of cool milk is also great.
