I increasingly notice that the simpler the composition of a recipe, the less various ingredients and spices it contains, the more successful the result will be. Confirmation of this, today's dish that I hasten to offer you - chicken legs with rice in the oven - is fast, tasty, satisfying, nutritious. We will cook without unnecessary addition of oil, it will not turn out very high in calories, so if you count calories, you will definitely like it.
Ingredients:
Chicken legs - 2 pcs.
Rice - 1 glass
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Water - 2 glasses
Salt, pepper - to taste
Paprika - to taste
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Description:
1. Prepare all the necessary foods according to the list. It is better to use fresh chicken instead of frozen. In choosing a variety of rice, be guided by yourself, in my case - an ordinary steamed long. Immediately turn on and preheat the oven, setting the temperature to 180 degrees.
2. Rinse and dry the chicken legs, then rub them with salt, pepper and paprika. Additional spices can be used if desired. Fry the chicken in vegetable oil - literally a few minutes on each side, so that a golden brown crust just appears.
3. Peel onions, rinse and dry. Cut into cubes or strips as you like.
4. Next, prepare the carrots - peel and wash, cut into medium cubes. To make it feel good in the finished dish, you should not grind it with slicing.
5. Rinse the rice several times to clean water, then dry it slightly. Take a heat-resistant form, put washed cereals and cut vegetables into it. By the way, bell pepper can be added if desired.
6. Place the toasted chicken legs into the mold. Season everything with salt and pepper.
7. Pour a couple of glasses of warm water and put the container in the oven. Bake rice with chicken for 20-30 minutes.
You can serve ready-made chicken legs with rice with vegetables and herbs.
