A juicy second dish, such as buckwheat with minced meat in a slow cooker, will appeal to everyone, without exception. It can be served both for breakfast and for lunch or dinner, leaving it heated for those who have not yet woken up or are late from work.
Any kind of minced meat is suitable: pork, pork and beef, chicken, turkey, etc. But remember that buckwheat, boiled in broth from minced pork, it will turn out to be more high-calorie than cooked in chicken or turkey. If desired, you can add other vegetables - tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers - that do not interrupt the taste of the cereal itself.
Ingredients:
Buckwheat - 200 g
Minced meat - 300 g
Hot water - 500 ml
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Vegetable oil - 30 ml
Salt - 1 tsp
Ground black pepper - 1 pinch
How to cook:
1. Pour the buckwheat into a deep container, sort it out, removing the black grains, and fill it with cold water. Rinse and drain the liquid. If it turns out to be cloudy, repeat the procedure several times. Many culinary experts recommend that the sorted cereals be calcined in a non-fat frying pan for 2-4 minutes before washing to enhance the taste and aroma.
2. Activate the "Fry" mode on the multicooker display and set the time to 10 minutes. Pour vegetable oil into a bowl, add minced meat and fry it for 5 minutes. At this time, peel the onion and wash it in water. Cut in half and cut into half rings, add to bowl, stir with fried minced meat. Cook until you hear a beep, stirring from time to time so that the contents of the container do not burn.
3. Pour washed buckwheat, salt and ground black pepper into a bowl.
4. Pour in hot water, ideally boiling water, so that the equipment does not waste time heating it, and the dish cooks faster. Close the lid of the multicooker and activate the "Porridge" or "Cooking" mode for 30 minutes - this time will be quite enough for the buckwheat to boil properly.
5. As soon as the beep sounds, buckwheat with minced meat is completely ready. Turn off the equipment so that the heating mode is not activated if it is not needed. Leave the porridge under the lid for another 10 minutes - the cereal will absorb the excess broth, since you don't need to add butter to the dish.
6. Put buckwheat porridge with minced meat in bowls or bowls / bowls, serve with fresh vegetables or vegetable salad, herbs.
Various sauces perfectly complement the dish: mayonnaise, ketchup, garlic or sour cream of any fat content.
