Chicken in a sour cream sauce in a pan is one of the express options for cooking chicken meat, such a quick lunch or dinner. The taste of the dish is simply gorgeous, perhaps precisely due to the fact that the composition includes a small number of components, because it has been known for a long time - the simpler the better.

Chicken can be used whole by cutting the carcass into pieces. The fastest result will, of course, be with poultry fillets. We will certainly combine sour cream with garlic and dill - such a sauce will ideally emphasize the taste of chicken meat.

Ingredients:

Chicken fillet - 300 g

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Salt, pepper, paprika - to taste

Sour cream - 200 g

Dill - 20 g

Garlic - 3 cloves

Description:

1. Prepare all products according to the list. Choose exclusively fresh, not frozen chicken. Use thick sour cream, not liquid, with a fat percentage of at least 21%. You can additionally use spices and herbs.

2. Transfer the sour cream to a small bowl.

3. Rinse a bunch of fragrant dill, shake off excess water drops. Tear off the hard stems, chop the twigs. Add a handful of herbs to the sour cream. Disassemble the head of garlic into cloves, peel and rinse, pass through a press. Add the garlic mixture to a bowl. Mix all ingredients well.

4. Rinse the chicken, pat dry with paper towels. Cut the fillets into small pieces.

5. Peel a large head of onion, rinse, dry and cut into half rings.

6. In a frying pan with vegetable oil, brown the onion slices and transfer the pieces of meat to it. Fry the chicken for a couple of minutes, so that each slice grabs a golden brown crust.

7. Add a mixture of sour cream, garlic, dill.

8. Stir the contents of the pan, season with spices and cover with a lid. Simmer the chicken in sour cream and garlic sauce for 15-20 minutes.

9. Chicken fillet in sour cream can be served with different side dishes - couscous, rice, buckwheat, mashed potatoes. For a lighter version, you can use steamed vegetables.
