Potatoes with bacon are the taste of childhood. Often we cooked it, using not only an oven, but also an ordinary rural oven, and sometimes even a fire. In any case, it was very tasty, especially in a large and friendly company. Today I will tell you how to bake potatoes with bacon in foil in the oven. The recipe is so simple that everyone can handle it. The main thing is to have the desire and the right products. The foil keeps the temperature well, which allows the finished dish to stay hot for a long time. This is convenient if you want to take such potatoes with you to nature, to school or to work.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 6 pcs.

Salted lard - 40 g.

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

1. Prepare the food listed for the recipe. When choosing potatoes, give preference to those varieties that boil well. It is advisable to take medium-sized tubers, they will bake faster and more evenly. You will also need spices, in this case salt and black pepper, and baking foil.

2. Wash the potatoes under running water, carefully removing all impurities. After all, after baking it can be eaten even with a peel. Using a sharp knife, cut the potatoes lengthways, not cutting to the end a little, so you should get a kind of pocket (as in the photo).

3. Freeze the bacon a little and cut into equal slices. They shouldn't be too thin, but they don't need to be huge either. Put one piece of bacon inside each tuber.

4. Then place each potato on a sheet of foil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. The range of spices can be expanded based on your taste preferences.

5. Wrap the potatoes tightly in foil. Send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 30-40 minutes. Cooking time will depend on your technique and the size of the vegetables you are roasting. The readiness of the dish can be checked with a wooden skewer or knife.

6. Gently remove the potatoes from the oven, free them from foil and serve hot. Delicious with fresh vegetables and sour cream sauce.
