The recipe especially helps out working, busy or lazy cooks, when there is no time or no desire to tinker with dessert.

Ingredients:

Puff pastry - 450 g

Condensed milk - 370 ml

Butter - 150 g

Rum (optional) - 30 ml

To make the "Log" cake from puff pastry with condensed milk at home, take the products from the list. Pre-defrost a roll of semi-finished dough, slowly, on a refrigerator shelf, without removing the packaging.

For better stratification, lightness and weightlessness of the cakes, do not roll out the thawed dough. We just unfold and leave the layer with the primary thickness. Cut into strips of the same width and length (2x15 cm). Slide it slightly on baking paper so that it does not stick together during baking.

Transfer to a baking sheet and poison in a pre-heated oven. We bake at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Do not open the oven door for the first 10 minutes.

Puff strips swell and redden, take out and cool.

At the same time, beat the cream of soft, well-melted butter and condensed milk. In my example, it comes out liquidish, if you want denser, take twice as much oil. But the cake will come out, of course, fatter.

Flavor additionally with rum if desired. Pour in and mix until smooth.

We unfold the cling film, grease it with cream, put cooled puffs in rows on the "puddle". Pour the bottom row-cake with a portion of cream, again place the strips of puffs. And so we build a volumetric product in the form of a log. Press lightly so that there are no voids inside.

Grind some of the parts into crumbs for decoration. We tighten the film tightly over the semi-finished cake - put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, many stand the whole night. But the cake with condensed milk is soaked and set relatively quickly. After unpacking, sprinkle with crumbs and cut off the illiquid edge.
