Ingredients:

Rabbit - 0.6 kg.

Potatoes - 1 kg.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Seasoning for meat - 1 tbsp.

Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Water - 250 ml.

Garlic - 2 cloves

To cook baked rabbit with potatoes in the oven, prepare the required set of ingredients. If possible, purchase a fresh carcass that has not been frozen. You can substitute mayonnaise for sour cream or cream if you wish.

Rinse the meat thoroughly under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Chop it into portions. Add salt, black pepper and seasoning to the meat. Massage the spices into each bite and leave to sit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

Cut the peeled carrots into long sticks or grate on a coarse grater.

Cut the potatoes into quarters. If the tubers are not too large, two will be enough.

Pour water separately into a small bowl, add mayonnaise, some salt and garlic squeezed through a press. Stir until smooth and pour over the rest of the food.

Cover the tin with foil and send to the oven. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Then remove the foil, and cook the dish for another 40-50 minutes until golden brown. During this time, the meat and potatoes will be completely cooked, and a subtle smell of garlic will be fragrant throughout the house.
