Ingredients for homemade liqueurs:

  • 2-2.3 kg of ripe grapes Isabella (to distinguish it when buying a very simple - and small clusters of dark almost black berries, as well as a delicious grape flavor);
  • sugar - for every 2 kg of berries need to take 0.5 kg of sugar;
  • Water - 0.5 liter per 2 Kg grapes.

Please note that you can not wash the grapes before making tinctures. The whole point of special yeast bacteria that live on the surface of the berries, and by which the fermentation process takes place.

So try to buy at once pure grapes, with no visible contamination or spoiled berries in clusters.

First you need to remove a bunch of grapes and put them in a jar or pot to 2/3 volume.

In another pot boil the water, add sugar syrup and pour these berries - liquid should rise above the grapes about 3 cm.

After a day or two the future liqueur starts to wander - will appear on the surface of the dense foam and characteristic sour smell of yeast.

Now you can strain through cheesecloth and packaged in small glass bottles that are recommended to be sterilized.

Keep grape brandy is necessary in a cool dark place.

But whatever the resulting delicious tincture, you should not abuse it - drink fortress hovering around 12-15 °.
