Today we will cook a very tender and tasty baked chicken marinated in kefir. In fairness, I want to say that the most delicious kebab, be it pork or chicken, I ate was pickled in such a marinade. If possible, marinate the chicken legs overnight, but if there is no time at all, then at least for a couple of hours. Try it, this is a delicious dish.

Ingredients:
Chicken legs - 2 pcs.
Kefir - 1 glass
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Seasoning for chicken - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 2 cloves
How to cook:
To bake chicken in kefir in the oven, prepare all the necessary foods. A fermented milk drink for the marinade can be taken with absolutely any fat content, as long as it is not too sour. Tomato sauce any will do too - your favorite.
Peel the garlic, wash, dry. Rinse the chicken legs thoroughly under running water, cut off excess fat from the inside, dry them with paper towels.
Pour kefir into a comfortable deep bowl and stir it so that there are no lumps.
Garlic, if you like, can pass through a press and add it in the form of gruel to the marinade. If you prefer aroma rather than taste, then chop it into thin slices and send it to a bowl. Sprinkle in salt and pepper, add your favorite tomato sauce and chicken seasoning.
Mix the kefir marinade with a spoon or fork until smooth, taste.
If everything suits you in terms of salt and pepper, put the chicken legs in the marinade, roll them well in it and leave to marinate. Remember to turn the meat over from time to time so that it marinates evenly.
After a while, transfer the chicken legs marinated in kefir into a baking dish and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. After half the time, gravy forms at the bottom of the container, pour it over the meat for a beautiful ruddy color and crisp crust.
Serve the chicken this way with any garnish. Boiled rice, buckwheat, pasta or mashed potatoes are very suitable here.
