Salad with crab sticks and corn has long become one of the most popular snack dishes on the festive table. Its taste is so versatile that you can add different ingredients as you like: fresh cucumber, boiled rice, canned fish and so on, resulting in a new dish every time. Many people add onions to the ingredients, but it is best to add green onions to a salad with such a delicate taste - it will give the dish freshness and give a bright spring aroma.

Remember to boil chicken eggs for 15 minutes beforehand and then chill them in ice water, as all foods must be chilled to create a salad. But, on the contrary, defrost crab sticks in the evening by moving them from the freezer to the refrigerator.

Ingredients:

Boiled chicken eggs - 3 pcs.

Crab sticks - 240 g

Canned corn - 1 can

Green onions - 0.5 bunch

Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons

Salt and pepper to taste

How to cook:

Prepare the food you need.

Free the defrosted crab sticks from the cellophane wrappers, cut into portions and pour the slices into a deep bowl or salad bowl.

Peel boiled chicken eggs from the shell. Then rinse them thoroughly to prevent even the smallest piece of shells from getting into the salad. Cut into medium cubes and pour into a container. If desired, use a special kitchen device for cutting boiled eggs.

Rinse the green onion stalks and gently blot them with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Chop and pour into a salad bowl.

Open a jar of canned corn, drain the marinade into a separate cup or bowl - you don't need it. Place the corn kernels in a colander and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to drain off excess liquid. If this is not done, the dish may be too wet. Add corn to the rest of the ingredients.

Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper the crab salad. Stir gently, minimizing movement, so as not to turn the egg slices into a puree.

Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream of any fat content, but in this case the shelf life of the dish will be reduced to 3-4 hours.

Place the prepared classic crab stick salad with corn in bowls / salad bowls and serve. If desired, it can be chilled in the refrigerator for about 30-40 minutes.
