Hearty, high-calorie protein salads are especially popular in the winter season. Of course, our men are the biggest connoisseurs of them. Therefore, we will now prepare for them a very tasty salad of quail eggs with smoked meat.

Ingredients:

Quail eggs - 6 pcs.

Pickled cucumber - 100 g

Olives - 60 g

Peking cabbage - 200 g

Cooked-smoked meat - 100 g

Green onions - 20 g

Hard cheese - 40 g

Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Ground black pepper - to taste

Sea salt, greens - optional

How to cook:

To prepare the salad, prepare all the necessary products according to our list. First, place a saucepan with a little salted water on the stove with quail eggs in it. After boiling, cook them for no longer than 5 minutes. Then cool, peel from the shell.

Disassemble the Chinese cabbage into leaves, cut off a part about a centimeter in size near the stump. Wash them under running water, wipe dry with paper towels or thick napkins.

Chop the cabbage into thin ribbons and place in a deep bowl. Wash and dry green onions too. Then finely chop and add to the cabbage slices.

Cut the boiled-smoked meat into thin strips, chop the pickled cucumber in about the same way. Add everything to a bowl. To prevent the salad from getting wet, you can squeeze the excess marinade from the cucumber.

Grate your favorite hard cheese on a coarse grater. Send the resulting shavings to the rest of the ingredients.

If the olives are pitted, press down on them with your palm and separate the flesh from them. Now cut into strips. Discard the bones. Cut 5 quail eggs lengthwise into quarters.

Place all ingredients in a bowl. Season with quality, low-fat mayonnaise. Stir in freshly ground black pepper for flavor and aroma. Stir the salad. Try it, add a little sea salt if necessary.

Divide the prepared salad into portions and garnish with the slices of the remaining boiled quail egg and a sprig of fresh herbs.
