One of the most successful, in my opinion, is the one that is kneaded in boiling water. Hot water brews the flour, as it were, resulting in a very tender, completely non-sticky, pliable dumplings dough. During sculpting, it sticks well and does not tear, which allows you to create beautiful products of the same size and shape. I recommend trying it!

Ingredients:

Water (boiling water) - 0.5 cups

Salt - 0.5 tsp

Flour - 2 cups

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

To knead the dough for dumplings in boiling water with an egg, prepare the products according to the list for the recipe. Sift wheat flour in advance and boil water. You will also need a 200 ml measuring container.

Pour a glass of sifted premium wheat flour into a deep bowl. Make a depression in the center, pour in odorless vegetable oil and add salt.

Then pour in boiling water and stir quickly. To avoid scalding your hands, use a spoon or silicone spatula. The flour should be brewed and absorb all the liquid.

Let the flour mixture cool slightly and beat in the egg. Stir again to spread evenly.

Then add the remaining flour and knead a tender, very pliable dough.

Collect it in a bun, wrap it in cling film or cover with a kitchen towel and leave for 15 minutes at room temperature.

That's all, a very successful choux pastry for dumplings / dumplings, mixed with boiling water, is ready. You can start modeling directly.

Roll out some of the dough into a thin layer. Then, using a round shape or a glass, cut out the blanks to the desired diameter. Place the meat filling in the center, about 1 tsp, and form the dumplings. This amount of dough took 350 g minced pork and one large onion.

Boil the dumplings until tender in salted water with black pepper and bay leaf.
