Tbilisi salad with red beans and beef

Only one name can tell that this dish belongs to Georgian cuisine, which has always been famous for its rich and memorable tastes. The rich composition of Tbilisi salad makes it very satisfying and nutritious, it is quite capable of replacing a full meal.

The portions of the ingredients, if desired, can be varied, but you should not change them for other products, so that the salad does not lose its originality. According to the classics, the main ingredients are beef, red beans and vegetables. Red onions add harshness to the dish, and chili peppers add spice. Use the amount of pepper only to taste. Also, spices are necessarily added to the salad - this is aromatic garlic and dry seasoning of hops-suneli. It is filled with vegetable oil and vinegar (it is better to take wine).

After standing in the refrigerator for a while, the mixture of vegetables is soaked through and through with garlic aroma and spicy taste. The Tbilisi salad with red beans and beef turns out to be so appetizing that hardly anyone will restrain himself from trying it and plunge into the atmosphere of sunny Georgia!

Ingredients:

Beef - 250 gr.

Red bell pepper - 1 pc.

Walnuts - 50 gr.

Garlic - 2 teeth

Canned red beans - 200 gr.

Fresh cilantro - 30 gr.

Chili pepper - to taste

Red salad onions - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 4 tablespoons

Wine vinegar 6% - 1 tbsp

Hops-suneli - 0.3 tsp

Salt to taste

How to cook:

Prepare all the foods on the list. Boil the beef in advance in slightly salted water until cooked through. The approximate cooking time is 60 minutes.

Throw the beans from the jar in a colander, pour over running water to rid it of the sticky marinade. Leave this way for a while to drain all the liquid. Then transfer the canned legumes to a salad bowl where you will mix all the ingredients.

Remove the top husk from the red onion head. Rinse the vegetable, trim in thin half rings, add to the beans.

Divide the Bulgarian pepper into two parts, scrape off all the seeds inside, also cut off the thick veins. Cut the pulp into short strips.

Crush the peeled kernels with a knife into smaller pieces, put them in a dry frying pan set on fire. Dry slightly so that they fully reveal their taste.

Cool the nuts completely, then transfer to the main composition.

Rinse the cilantro under running cool water, then dry on a towel. Finely chop the greens, add them to the salad.

Chop the garlic cloves finely with a knife or pass them through a special press. Load the chopped garlic into a container with the contents.

Cut the cooled beef into strips, add to the main composition.

Sprinkle the salad with salt to taste, season with the suneli hops. Chop the chili peppers with a knife, add them to all the ingredients in the salad bowl, based on your own taste.

Combine vinegar with vegetable oil, pour over the dish obtained by dressing.

Then mix the mixture thoroughly, load it into the refrigerator for half an hour to cool the Tbilisi salad.
