Today I will show the recipe for my favorite chicken liver cake. Try to cook it, you may also like it very much.

Ingredients:
Chicken liver - 600 g
Onions - 100 g
Carrots - 180 g
Greek yogurt - 100 g
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Baking powder (optional) - 5 g
Flour - 4 tablespoons
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Lean oil - for frying
Garlic - 1 clove
Greens to taste
How to cook:
Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Peel the onions, carrots, garlic. Then wash and pat dry. Clean the chicken liver from excess fat and films, wash under running water, dry slightly.
Place the by-product in a deep bowl and blend with a hand blender until smooth. This procedure can be done using a conventional meat grinder with a fine sieve.
Salt and pepper the chopped liver to taste, beat in a fresh chicken egg and add flour. The amount of the latter may depend on how juicy the offal is.
Then I always add a teaspoon of baking powder to the minced dough, then the liver pancakes will be high and fluffy. Stir until smooth and be sure to let it sit for at least 10 minutes before baking in a pan.
In the meantime, while you can prepare the filling for the cake. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet, put onion, cut into half rings, inside. Fry it for 3-4 minutes until transparent. After a while, send carrots grated on a coarse grater to him. Simmer over medium heat until tender. Let the sauteed vegetables cool.
Grease a frying pan with a small diameter with vegetable oil. Pour an incomplete ladle of liver dough and bake over medium heat for two minutes on each side.
Add Greek yogurt, salt and pepper to your cooled vegetables to taste. I do not use mayonnaise, as the dish becomes very high in calories and fatty. And Greek yogurt gives all sweet ingredients a slight sourness, with such a filling, the liver cake will sparkle with completely new flavor notes.
Next, using a serving ring, large in diameter, I cut off the edges, so I make pancakes of the same size. There are a lot of people who want to trim immediately)))
Place the liver pancake on a dish, brush it with the prepared filling, cover with another pancake. Do the same with the rest of the ingredients.
Cover the liver cake with cling film and let sit and soak for a while.
