When creating a lunch or dinner with a kitchen helper like a slow cooker, cook your chicken stew in it. The dish will turn out to be delicious and aromatic, all relatives will appreciate its taste and ask for more! It is also noteworthy that you will not need to spend your free time at the stove, because the technique will do everything itself. The potato slices will not boil over, as would happen in an ordinary cauldron or a saucepan with a non-stick bottom on the stove, and the chicken will become juicy and tender in taste.

It is permissible to use both broiler and farm poultry, but remember that in the latter case, it will have to be boiled for about twice as long. The list of added spices and seasonings depends entirely on your taste, but must be: ground black pepper, paprika, dried or fresh garlic, bay leaves.

Ingredients:

Chicken (parts) - 0.6 kg

Potatoes - 3 pcs.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Bay leaf - 4 pcs.

Salt - 1 tsp

Ground paprika - 1 tsp

Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp

Warm water - 1 tbsp.

How to stew:

Cut the whole chicken into pieces or use pre-purchased poultry pieces. For example: drumsticks, thighs, fillets, etc.

Rinse the meat in water and cut off all films and veins. Place the chicken in a deep bowl or salad bowl.

Peel potato tubers, rinse in water. Cut the peeled vegetables into large slices in a bowl of chicken.

Season with salt and pepper, add ground paprika and bay leaves.

Mix everything thoroughly with each other so that both the potato slices and the chicken meat are enveloped in spices and become colorful.

Peel the onions, rinse in water and cut into half rings or small cubes. Pour into the bottom of the multicooker and then add the contents of the bowl.

Optionally, onions can be replaced with green / leeks, but they must be added to the bowl of equipment 5 minutes before the dish is ready.

Activate the "Stew" / "Meat" mode for 40 minutes if the chicken is broiler. If it is homemade, first cook the chicken pieces for 40 minutes, then add the potato slices and onions, and simmer for another 40 minutes. If, together with the farm bird, put the multicooker and vegetable cuts into the bowl, then they will turn into mashed potatoes in such a time!
