Anyone knows that alcohol is very dangerous for our liver and can cause cirrhosis. But recent research shows that alcohol isn't the only one that can do this.

What can be dangerous for the liver?

So, according to doctors and scientists, sweet dishes are in second place after alcohol in terms of the degree of danger to the liver. Regular consumption of sweets can lead to the development of fatty liver diseases. As experts note, today this phenomenon is becoming more widespread than the problems caused by alcohol consumption. According to experts, the main danger of sweets is the presence of animal fat and sugar in their composition.

These substances are dangerous not only with extra pounds - their regular use can cause the development of inflammatory processes in the liver, which can ultimately cause serious problems with health.

Fatty disease is very dangerous, because with this disease, many fat cells are deposited in the liver. As a result, metabolism is disrupted, increasing the risk of diabetes, heart and vascular diseases, and this pathology can develop into cirrhosis.

Scientists in Sweden conducted an experiment, according to which the regular consumption of fast food for 30 days could cause the development of fatty liver disease. Experts have made another conclusion: a similar "result" can be achieved if you constantly include foods based on sugar and fats in your diet.
