This salad has several recipes. Today we will consider the option with beets. It will have three layers, each of which has its own specific flavor load - carrot, cheese and beetroot.
We use raw carrots, add raisins to it. We supplement the cheese with garlic, boiled beets with nuts and prunes. In this case, each component is separately seasoned with mayonnaise, only after that we begin to form layers.
The "Mistress" salad with beets looks very bright and beautiful, it is quite consistent with its name.
Prepare the ingredients for the salad according to the list.
Peel raw carrots, grate on a fine or medium grater, mix with raisins. Add 1-1.5 tbsp. mayonnaise, mix thoroughly. If necessary, soak the raisins in hot water to soften them.
Chop the cheese on a fine grater, combine with chopped garlic. Add a spoonful of mayonnaise, stir.
Boil the beets in the peel until tender. Cool, clean. Then grate.
Break the walnut kernels with your hands or chop them into pieces of different sizes with a knife. Cut the prunes into small pieces. If it is very hard, it is best to soak it in water beforehand.
Add nuts and prunes to the beets.
Season the mixture with mayonnaise, stir.
When all the ingredients are prepared, start shaping the salad. Use a forming ring for convenience.
Put the carrots with raisins in the first layer, press with a spoon.
Then place the cheese-garlic mass, distribute it evenly around the perimeter of the mold.
Finish with the beets, prunes and nuts.
Remove the form. Garnish the salad with nuts, raisins and prunes on top. Serve immediately to prevent it from draining.
Ingredients:
Boiled beets - 1 pc.
Raw carrots - 1 pc.
Hard cheese - 150 gr.
Raisins - 70 gr.
Prunes - 70 gr.
Walnuts - 70 gr.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Mayonnaise - 40 gr.
Salt to taste
