Muffins are loved and often prepared in many families. This simple and quick sweet pastry is simply adored by both adults and children, especially for a cup of tea, coffee or milk for breakfast. Muffins with cherries are moderately sweet, due to the sourness, the berry perfectly balances the taste. They are very soft and delicate. It will take you less than 30 minutes to cook them, so if you wake up half an hour early and preheat the oven, you can delight your family with the perfect baked goods for breakfast.
Ingredients:
- Flour - 200 g
- Egg - 3 pcs.
- Butter - 60 g
- Sugar - 140 g
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Cherries - 150 g
- Milk - 3 - 4 tablespoons
Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. I always harvest cherries since summer: I peel them off, put them in small portions in convenient plastic containers and freeze them. I advise you to do the same, in the winter time it costs much more. Defrost the berries beforehand.
Place the soft butter in a deep bowl, beat with sugar for a few minutes using a mixer. The mass will become lush and increase in volume. Optionally add vanillin or vanilla sugar for flavor.
Now drive in large eggs one at a time. Whisk gradually at low speed.
Pour in the sifted flour, baking powder. Pour in some milk. Continue whisking gently at the same low speed.
The dough will turn out to be moderately thick, very similar in appearance to custard.
Line the muffin mold with paper cuffs, place in each a full heaped tablespoon of dough, about ¾ approximately, as the muffins will rise during baking.
Put three cherries on top of each blank. Send the mold to the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until dry.
Cool the finished muffins with cherries and serve the family for breakfast. Don't forget to put the kettle on and brew a delicious tea. Store baked goods in a food bag to keep them soft.
