Despite the huge number of varieties of semolina pie, the classics are always a priority. We offer a recipe for the classic manna in milk. Every hostess has baked this simple cake once in a lifetime, because it is attracted by its budget ingredients, easy cooking method, and amazing end result. Milk-based mannik comes out very tender and fluffy, remains soft for a long time.

The basic recipe can always be varied. This dough goes well with poppy seeds, fruits, nuts, dried fruits and so on.

Ingredients:

Milk - 1 glass

Semolina - 1 glass

Flour - 0.5 cups

Sugar - 1 glass

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Vegetable oil - 50 ml.

Butter - 20 gr.

Baking powder - 15 gr.

How to cook:

Prepare the required ingredients.

Beat eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar, add vegetable oil.

Stir the food thoroughly until smooth with a fork or whisk.

Place a separate container with milk on the stove. Heat it without boiling. Melt a piece of butter in warm milk. Remove container from heat.

Pour the mixture of milk and butter into a bowl with the egg mass, stir.

Pour in the desired portion of the cereal, mix well. Set aside for 20-30 minutes in a secluded place so that the semolina absorbs the liquid base and swells well. Stir the mixture periodically during this period.

Sift the flour through a sieve while mixing it with baking powder. Now add in small portions to the main composition.

Beat the dough with a hand blender, making it soft, without lumps.

Grease a baking dish with oil or cover with parchment paper. Pour some semolina on the bottom to help the cake separate from it after baking. Pour the dough into the mold, smooth its surface with a spatula.

Place the dish on the middle rack of the oven. Bake the cake for 40 minutes. Before removing the manna from the oven, pierce it with a skewer to accurately check readiness. The dough should not stick to the wooden stick.
