Pork goulash as in a canteen in Soviet times

We cook simple, dear and beloved by many pork goulash the way it was prepared in the Soviet canteen. The recipe is pretty easy, so even a child can handle it. But what a gorgeous taste it turns out - you can't even argue here, meat lovers will definitely be delighted!

Goulash can be served to both adults and children, it will definitely fly off the table first. As for the side dish, the easiest and most delicious option is airy mashed potatoes cooked in milk, with a piece of butter - mmm, you will lick your fingers. Well, as an addition to the whole dish, a barrel cucumber - men will carry you in their arms for such a serving, it's checked!

Well, let's get started.

Ingredients:

  • Pork - 300 g
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 150 ml
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste
  • Wheat flour - 1 tbsp.

Prepare the right ingredients for the dish.

Proceed with vegetables immediately: peel, wash, dry. Grate the carrots on a medium grater, cut the onion into small cubes.

Rinse pork, dry. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces.

Heat two pans well. So, in the first one, melt the butter, throw the flour, fry it for a minute, stirring it, then add a mixture of tomato paste and water, stir, put aside. Grease the second pan with vegetable oil, lay out vegetables and meat - fry for 10-15 minutes.

After a while, pour the tomato sauce into the meat, season everything well with spices - salt, pepper to taste. Stir the sauce and meat, simmer under a lid on a minimum heat for 25-30 minutes.

Serve goulash with your favorite side dish. Fit puree, buckwheat or any other option.
