If you love liver, especially chicken liver, today's recipe should suit your taste, I suggest making a gravy from it. Delicate pieces of liver will be wrapped in a creamy sauce with the addition of carrots and onions - it will turn out very, very tasty! This gravy is just perfect for porridge or potato dishes, but you can even just serve it with fresh vegetables or homemade pickles.
To make you happy with the recipe, you need to use a high-quality product, do not take ice cream for the liver. Take a fresh one so that it is even and beautiful, without damage and an incomprehensible smell. It is impossible to cook offal for too long in a pan, otherwise it will come out tough, it is also worth serving such a dish immediately to the table and do not leave for later, because it is the freshly prepared liver that is delicious, but after it has stood, the result will be to others.
Ingredients:
Chicken liver - 300 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Cream 15% - 1 glass
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
Salt, pepper - to taste
Wheat flour - 3 tbsp.
Cooking process:
1. Prepare all the necessary foods according to the list. Choose tasty and fresh vegetables, good chicken liver, cream will suit any fat content.
2. Peel the onions, rinse and dry. Cut it into medium sized cubes.
3. Peel and wash the carrots, grate on a medium grater.
4. In order not to smear excess dishes, throw a couple of tablespoons of flour into a clean bag. Pre-rinse the offal in a sieve under running water. Chop the dried liver at random and transfer to a prepared bag. Close it and shake it off a couple of times so that each piece of liver is enveloped in flour.
5. In a frying pan, fry the carrots and onions in vegetable oil, about 3-4 minutes.
6. Add pieces of liver to the vegetables and fry for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Pour the cream into the pan. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes under the lid, add salt and pepper at the end.
Serve the ready-made sauce immediately, so the liver will be the most juicy and tender.
