A dish for a hearty lunch and a festive menu is meat with cheese. Meat is cooked in a similar way in French, you probably know. Today I propose to cover the overall pork schnitzel with a cheese layer, and add a pre-fried onion for greater juiciness and better taste.
Ingredients:
Pork - 500 g
Hard cheese - 150 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Vegetable oil - 50 ml
Curry sauce with pineapple - 30 g
Sea salt, black pepper - to taste
Step by step recipe:
To cook meat with cheese at home, take the foods listed. Pork, beef, turkey, chicken - any fillet of your choice, but without hard films, thick fat layers, you need tender and fresh pulp.
This recipe has a sweet-spicy curry (turmeric) sauce with pineapple as a condiment. It gives the meat dish a pleasant, unobtrusive aftertaste, as well as additional juiciness. If you want, replace with sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, others sauce.
We turn on the oven and heat it up at the maximum temperature. Meanwhile, chop a large onion into small cubes. Toss the slices into a hot frying pan with sizzling refined lean oil (pour in about 20 ml).
For a quick caramelization, immediately sprinkle the onion with salt. Sometimes stir and saute for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. We do not let it burn or darken.
To make the meat fibers softer, we beat the pork schnitzel under cling film, a little, without much effort (we leave the workpiece rather thick).
Apply the selected thick and rich sauce to the beaten meat.
Smear it with a brush over the entire surface, additionally sprinkle with ground hot pepper (salt if necessary).
Put the fried golden onions on a layer of sauce: place more or less evenly over the entire area.
Add hard cheese last. Before that, cut a bar with three large shavings or thin slices into small cubes. You can lay the slices whole.
We carefully transfer the semi-finished product into a well-oiled refractory container. We send the meat under the cheese to the oven (thoroughly hot by that time).
We bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. Charcoal the melted cheese crust under the grill to the desired degree.
Serve appetizing pork with hot cheese, fresh herbs, sauces.
