Many people love seafood, and shrimp, probably, occupies a leading place among them. They can be cooked in many ways on the grill, boiled, baked, but the most optimal and delicious option at home is to fry in a pan. So you can cook absolutely any shrimp, not necessarily large. They are usually served with beer, this drink is ideal. Be sure to try this recipe for fried shrimp in shell - it's very simple, quick and delicious.
Ingredients:
Large shrimps - 500 g
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Ginger (root) - 10 g
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 2 cloves
Lean oil - 1 tbsp.
How to cook:
Prepare foods on the list. Set the shrimps to defrost, so they cook faster and will definitely not be rubbery when finished.
Peel the ginger and garlic. By the way, if there is no fresh root, you can add 0.5 teaspoon of ground.
Heat some vegetable oil in a large teflon-lined skillet. With the back of a knife, crush two small cloves of garlic, toss them into the pan, let them give their flavor to the oil.
Add the chopped ginger root immediately and cook for about a minute.
Place the defrosted shrimp in a skillet. Fry on one side for 2-3 minutes. The time depends on the size and weight of one shrimp.
Then turn the seafood over to the other side and fry them for the same amount of time.
Now season with good quality sea salt and ground black pepper to taste, and squeeze out the lemon juice. Stir everything well one last time and remove the pan from heat.
Place cooked fried shrimp in a large platter and serve with your loved ones sauces. You can put in a little more lemon if acid seems to be insufficient for someone.
Fried shrimps with garlic in their shells are served hot, ideally with a glass of cold beer, although they are also very tasty when chilled.
