I propose to cheer up with a vitamin drink with a refreshing acidity and a beautiful ruby hue - blackcurrant juice. Moreover, cooking involves a minimum of effort. It is important to exclude rotten, moldy berries, since there is no long-term cooking. Currants are steamed with boiling water, giving aroma, color, natural taste and vitamins to the liquid.

Black currant - 200 g
Water - 1000 ml
Honey - 40 ml

If you decide to give your loved ones a healthy drink, vitamin, very tasty and rich blackcurrant fruit drink, take berries, drinking water and honey. If desired, you can sweeten the sour drink with regular sugar. It is also easy to regulate concentration. A small handful of berries gives a lot of juice, color, acidity and aroma.
In the season, give preference to a new crop, but in the rest of the year, feel free to cook from frozen stocks. Even with a partial loss of a valuable arsenal of vitamins and microelements, frozen black currants in drinks, pastries, desserts and other dishes are not inferior to fresh ones.
Thanks to vitamin C, currant juice is often taken in the prevention of colds.
Before steaming the berries, we revise them, throw away the illiquid ones. We leave the crumpled but fit ones. We put them in a bowl of cold water for a couple of minutes, then it is easier to catch various debris that floats to the surface. Then we discard it in a colander and additionally rinse it under a running stream.
We transfer clean berries to a fireproof container, knead - this way we get more unique juice, we will sooner bring the fruit drink to readiness.
If for some reason you don't use honey, replace it with sugar. Then throw in the right portion of granulated sugar at this stage and mash with the currants. The sugar crystals will dissolve more quickly.
Simultaneously boil water separately.
Fill the crushed berries with prepared boiling water, put the container on an overhead fire.
Warm up until boiling again and immediately remove from the stove. Pour honey into the hot blackcurrant juice, mix, taste. Let me remind you that we don't cook honey, we add it at the very end of the process. Install the lid and leave for 20-30 minutes.
Before serving, filter the concentrated berry juice from the cake.
