Sometimes an alternative to lemonade is prepared with the addition of lemons or citric acid - for greater sharpness and freshness. Also, the concentration / saturation and dosage of granulated sugar are randomly adjusted.

Ingredients:

Oranges - 2 pcs.

Sugar - 100 g

Citric acid - 3 g

Water - 2500 ml

For a delicious and refreshing drink, take the food listed. Any drinking water is suitable, that is, purified, filtered, bottled, melted, boiled, cooled, or other suitable for drinking. If you are not satisfied with the raw water in cocktails, boil and chill the required amount of water beforehand.

Regarding volume - recipes with proportions of 2 oranges to 4 liters of water are more common. I have reduced the amount of liquid for a more expressive, richer aroma and taste.

You've probably noticed that whole citrus drinks (with pulp and skin) get an unpleasant bitterness. But there is a secret how to get rid of it. Freezing required. After thawing, the bitterness disappears.

So, wash the citrus fruits, wipe them dry with a towel and send them in a food bag for the whole night or less to the freezer: until they are completely frozen.

With time to spare, thaw the oranges at room temperature. Or, hurry up to chop frozen ones that are still hard. It is important to remove the bones.

Load the orange slices into the chopper bowl with the knife attachment. You can use a meat grinder.

Pour sugar and, if desired, citric acid into water, stir and dissolve. I will say that you can refuse granulated sugar, it will also be tasty, fresh and aromatic.

We load the orange "gruel" into the prepared water, leave for 20 minutes. The liquid is instantly colored with a sunny tint and aromatizes very quickly.
