Fried mushrooms with potatoes

In August, when the mushroom hunt begins, what do you most often cook with mushrooms? As it seems to me, everyone fries potatoes with them, so my recipe for novice cooks will not be superfluous.

You can cook a dish in any oil: refined or unrefined, as well as butter or lard. It's a matter of taste. Fried mushrooms with potatoes turn out to be fragrant, such a tasty and hearty dish is perfect for lunch or dinner. By the way, this is a great option for a fast day.

Ingredients:

Fresh mushrooms - 300 g

Potatoes - 800 g

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Salt and fresh herbs to taste

Vegetable oil - 70 ml.

Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list. My mushrooms are already peeled and washed in advance. Cut large specimens into slices, small ones - you can leave them intact.

Cut the peeled onions into half rings. Peel the potatoes and leave them in water.

If we want the fried potatoes to have an appetizing crust, then first we need to fry the mushrooms.

Heat any oil in a frying pan. If you have unrefined, then you need to heat it very well before frying. Butter or lard just needs to be melted.

Then add the prepared mushrooms, mix. Cooking for the first 8-10 minutes, covered, over low heat. During this time, the mushrooms will release juice and stew in their own juice.

Then, under a frying pan with mushrooms, make the heat medium. We continue to fry, stirring, without the lid, until the liquid boils away.

While the mushrooms are fried, we prepare the potatoes. It needs to be dried. Cut into slices or cubes - whatever you like best.

Add potatoes to the mushrooms. We mix.

Place the onion over the potatoes. Fry for the first 10 minutes over medium heat, covered.

When the lower potatoes are browned, salt and mix. Now we fry the remaining 8-10 minutes without a lid.

Depending on the type of potato, it can be ready even after 15 minutes from the start of cooking. It comes out especially crumbly if young.

With finely chopped dill or parsley, our potatoes with mushrooms can be sprinkled at the end of cooking or when serving.

Delicious and aromatic fried potatoes with mushrooms are ready. We serve the dish hot.
