Sausages in a skillet batter are fried much faster than baked in the oven. And if at the same time you use ready-made commercial dough, then the dish is prepared very quickly and easily. The process becomes within the power of even an inexperienced cook.

Puff pastry fried in oil has an appetizing golden brown and crispy crust. The taste of the dish largely depends on the quality of the sausages, so choose only proven sausages. You can take dairy, smoked or other types of your choice.

Fried sausages in puff pastry are perfect for a hearty snack.

Ingredients:

  • Thin sausages - 6 pcs.
  • Yeast-free puff pastry - 300 gr.
  • Vegetable oil - 30 ml.

Prepare food. Use only high quality and fresh sausages.

Peel the sausages from the artificial film. If the products have a natural casing, you do not need to remove it. Raw sausages will be wrapped in the dough, but if you give the dish to children, you can boil them in advance if you wish.

Remove the finished puff pastry from the freezer first so that it becomes soft.

Sprinkle the surface with flour, lay the layer, slightly roll it out with a rolling pin, cut into even strips. Their length should be twice that of sausages.

Wrap a strip of dough around the sausage from edge to edge. Do this with each copy.

Put a frying pan on the fire, pour in a sufficient amount of oil. Heat well. There should not be little oil, otherwise the puff pastry will not rise.

Place the workpieces in the heated oil.

Fry them on all sides until golden brown on the surface. Make the fire small, cover the pan with a lid so that the dough is well fried.

After frying the sausages in puff pastry, transfer to a napkin to remove the excess oil.
