Oven baked chicken with garlic is a great option for a family lunch or dinner, lovers of delicious and hearty food will definitely like it. During the baking process, garlic oil is poured over the meat from time to time, so the aroma of the finished dish is crazy. I will cook the thighs, everything is done very simply, so novice culinary specialists can cope with cooking. Serve baked chicken thighs with any side dish, or complement with a fresh vegetable salad or homemade pickles.

Ingredients:

Chicken thigh - 900 gr.

Garlic - 3 heads

Vegetable oil - 50 ml.

Rosemary - 2 Wh

Salt and spices to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - We prepare the necessary products according to the list. Not only thighs are suitable, but also any other part of the chicken: drumstick, wings. You can use the whole carcass. It is better to take meat fresh or chilled.

Step 2 - Peel the garlic, rinse. Cut large teeth in half.

Step 3 - Rinse the thighs in water, dry with a paper towel and salt on all sides. We leave for 10-15 minutes. For a whole carcass, it will take an hour for salting.

Step 4 - In the meantime, heat vegetable oil in a pan, preferably not refined. Make the fire medium. Fry the garlic with rosemary sprigs for 8-10 minutes, turning over to the other side from time to time. Fresh herbs can be replaced with dried herbs, but in this case, sprinkle the meat with spices along with salt. Also, chicken is "friendly" with paprika, coriander and marjoram.

Step 5 - Put the garlic fried with rosemary in a baking dish or ovenproof baking sheet.

Step 6 - Put the thighs on top, pour the oil in which the garlic was fried. Sprinkle with spices if desired.

Step 7 - We put the chicken thighs with garlic in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Sprinkle them with garlic oil every 15-20 minutes.

Step 8 - Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown. Then we make a puncture, if light juice flows out - the meat is ready. If a whole chicken is baked, it may take up to 1.5 hours, depending on its size, 30-40 minutes for chicken wings.

Aromatic baked garlic chicken thighs are ready. We serve immediately to the table.
