A nutritious and delicious oatmeal banana smoothie is the perfect meal for a full meal, for example for breakfast, but also for a snack between lunch and dinner, if you stick to the right nutrition.

The drink is prepared quickly, with all the necessary ingredients at hand. Purchase instant oatmeal so that it softens in the liquid in less time. If desired, you can add ground cinnamon, various flavors and essences to the smoothie.

It is recommended to serve the drink with a straw with a wide opening, so that it does not clog when tasting. For decoration, pieces of bananas, other fruits, fresh mint leaves, colorful dusting, etc. are suitable.

Ingredients:

Oatmeal flakes - 50 g

Drinking yoghurt - 300 ml

Banana - 1-2 pcs.

Sugar - 1.5 tsp

Preparation:

1. Smoothies are created in a special jug blender, which is more suitable for preparing thick drinks than a conventional submersible. Pour into a bowl drinking yogurt of any kind with any flavor that does not interrupt banana, for example with pineapple. When preparing smoothies for more people, you need to increase the rate of ingredients.

2. Place instant oatmeal in a bowl. Be sure to look them up for husks. If it is present (it may be in a cheap product purchased by weight), then pre-rinse the oatmeal several times in water before adding it to the bowl.

3. Add granulated sugar and other flavors. You can replace sugar with honey of any kind, if you are not allergic to this product. Since the smoothie does not lend itself to heat treatment, honey can be added directly to the bowl, and not while serving.

4. Peel one large banana or a couple of small fruits, cut into slices and add to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Sometimes it is okay to use dried bananas if fresh fruit is not available. It is recommended to keep the dried product in boiling water for about 20 minutes before adding.

5. Chop and beat everything for about 2-3 minutes on a pulsating mode, closing the bowl with a lid.

6. Pour the cooked oatmeal banana smoothie into tall glasses, irish glasses, tubing jars and garnish before serving.

It is not recommended to prepare a drink for future use, since during long-term storage the smoothie becomes thick and it will be impossible to drink it through a straw.
