I discovered the recipe for pickling pickles with tomato ketchup not so long ago. They turn out to be moderately sour and sweet, with a very tasty marinade, which after opening the can you want to drink immediately. If you have not tried to cook cucumbers for the winter in this way, you should definitely try, because it is simple, quick and very tasty.

Ingredients:
Cucumbers - about 1.5 kg
Garlic - 2 cloves
Parsley - 4 sprigs
Dill - 4 branches
Cilantro - 4 branches
Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
Peppercorns - 12 pcs.
Cherry leaves - 4 pcs.
Currant leaves - 4 pcs.
Water - 1 l
Ketchup - 150 g
Salt (with a slide) - 1 tablespoon
Sugar - 3 tablespoons
Vinegar 9% - 3 tablespoons
How to marinate:
Prepare foods from the list. Take two cans, from me - for 900 g and 550 g. Wash them with dishwashing detergent under hot water and dry.
Wash cucumbers thoroughly with a kitchen brush to remove pimples, if desired, cut off the tails so that they do not turn out to be bitter. If the cucumbers are tiny, then leave them whole.
Next, wash and dry fresh herbs, cherry and currant leaves.
Place a couple of sprigs of parsley, dill and, if you like, cilantro at the bottom of clean cans. Add six peppercorns, a bay leaf, a clove of garlic, currant leaves, and cherry leaves to each.
Fill the jars with cucumbers to the top, to the very neck.
Boil water in a kettle. Place the jars on a tray or dish. Pour boiling water over the cucumbers so that it overflows. Cover with a lid and leave to sterilize for 15 minutes.
After a while, drain the water from the cucumbers into a saucepan, add quite a bit of boiling water from the kettle, put it on the stove. When it boils, add salt and sugar. Dissolve them completely.
Next add the ketchup. You can take any - tomato, kebab, chili and so on, the one that you like the most.
Dilute the ketchup in the marinade. As soon as it boils again, add the vinegar.
Pour the marinade into the jars immediately so that it overflows. Tighten with a lid or with a special wrench. We pour this marinade on purpose, because the cucumbers will absorb it while they stand until winter, and then the jars will be half-empty.
Turn the seams upside down. Cover with something warm, such as an old blanket, and leave to cool completely.
Transfer the completely cooled twists to a cool, dark place and store until winter. Such pickled cucumbers with ketchup have a very interesting and unusual taste, so I recommend this preservation.
