Batter onions will become an interesting and original appetizer for any meal. The dish consists of a minimum composition of products, has a simple recipe. At the same time, there are a number of nuances that you should know in order to cook it deliciously. Firstly, it is better to marinate the onion rings in vinegar before breading, they will no longer be raw, they will become softer, and slightly change their taste. Secondly, before dipping them into batter, be sure to bread them in flour, then it will stick better. The onion is deep-fried, but it turns out to be absolutely low-fat. Adhering to these rules, you will prepare the most delicious and beautiful onion rings in batter.

Ingredients:

Bulb onions - 1 pc. (large)

Egg - 1 pc.

Milk - 2 tablespoons

Flour - 3 tbsp. l.

Vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Water (boiling water) - 200 ml.

Vegetable oil - 200 ml.

Sugar - a pinch

Salt, pepper - to taste

Prepare all the foods on the list.

Separate the onion from the husk, wash. Cut into rings of medium thickness. Cut carefully so that the rings do not fall apart during frying.

Place the onion in a deep container, pour boiling water over it, add vinegar and a pinch of sugar. Marinate for the next 10 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the batter. Break an egg into a bowl, pour in milk, add flour (2 tablespoons). Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a fork or whisk, eliminating all lumps. Season the thick and homogeneous batter with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the pickled onions to the remaining flour, roll in it on all sides.

Shake off excess flour, and dip the rings into the batter. Flip from side to side so that the egg mass envelops them evenly. Thus, code all instances.

In parallel, put a deep frying pan or saucepan on the fire. Heat a large amount of oil in a container without bringing it to a boil.

Now lower the workpieces in hot oil in small portions. Roast them for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally.
