Before you have time to look back, everyone's favorite New Year holidays will come, and with them - a pleasant bustle of buying food and planning a menu for this celebration. Olivier salad has always been the favorite. There is not a single family in which it would not be prepared. I want to propose to cook a very tasty version - with tiger prawns, incredibly similar to Olivier with crayfish tails. If you love seafood, you should definitely try it, you will love it.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Pickled cucumber - 150 g
- Canned peas - 3 tbsp
- Chicken egg - 2 pcs.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Tiger shrimps - 200 g
- Salt to taste
- Ch.m. pepper - taste
- Mayonnaise - 2-3 tablespoons
- Lean oil - for frying
How to cook:
Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Wash potatoes, carrots and chicken eggs under running water with a clean kitchen sponge.
Put everything in a cauldron and send it to the fire. Boil after boiling water until tender. As a rule, eggs - no longer than 10 minutes, carrots - 15 minutes, and potatoes - 15-20 minutes (depending on the size of the tubers).
Do not forget to cool the eggs in cold water. Peel vegetables and eggs from the shell.
To better reveal the taste of shrimp, it is better to fry them for a minute on both sides in a hot frying pan. If desired, it can be slightly greased with lean refined oil.
While the vegetables are cooling, cut the pickles or pickles into small cubes. Transfer them to a deep bowl, add canned green peas.
Cut the potatoes and carrots into the same small cubes. Transfer to a bowl.
Peel the cooled shrimp from the shell, do not forget to remove the intestines. Cut into small pieces. Chop the chicken eggs. Transfer everything to a bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
Season the salad with delicious quality mayonnaise from a trusted manufacturer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Stir all ingredients gently until covered with sauce. Let the dish stand for literally 5 minutes to mix all the flavors.
Use a serving ring to place the salad onto a platter.
Carefully remove the ring, decorate to your liking and serve.
Olivier salad with tiger prawns is good because all its ingredients can be cut and covered with cling film, and seasoned right before serving.
