By the way, very few people cook beets and potatoes this way, and some do not know at all that this is possible. This dish can be used as a side dish or as a stand-alone dish. I can cook these potatoes for dinner or for lunch. Looks very smart!

Beets and potatoes need to be peeled.
I cut the potatoes in half and cut them into such pieces:

I will bake potatoes and beets in the oven.
I take a glass form (any form is possible) and grease it with sunflower oil. A couple of tablespoons will suffice.
Arbitrarily spread some of the potatoes and some of the beets.
I add a couple of garlic cloves. You don't need to peel the garlic. He will give his aroma to vegetables anyway. A little salt and pepper.
Then I spread the remaining vegetables, salt and pepper too. I add 3 more cloves of garlic.
I chop the dill and sprinkle it with vegetables.
I pour with the remaining oil - about one, two more spoons.
Cover with foil and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees to bake for half an hour.
It's been 30 minutes, I get the vegetables out of the oven. I remove the foil and send it back to bake until cooked.
It took me another 20 minutes. It all depends on the variety of potatoes and beets.
The garnish is ready! I remove the garlic (by the way, it is very tasty).
I put it on plates and serve it to the table. This is how tasty, simple and new way you can cook familiar potatoes and beets.
