I want to share with you my way of painting eggs for Easter.
Each has its own secrets and nuances of how best to paint eggs with onion skins.
I have been using this method for many years. and I think this is the best environmentally friendly, and most importantly, a simple and very quick way to paint eggs.
We need the following products:
Chicken eggs - 10 pcs.
Onion peel - 40 gr. (almost full plastic bag).
Salt - 1 tablespoon

Step by step recipe:
1. First you need to wash the eggs very well to remove dirt. You can do this just with warm water, or you can use soda. I have homemade eggs, passed by my beloved grandmother.
2. We take a deep saucepan (it is better to take an old one, the pan will be painted and then it will be difficult to wash it). Baking soda, citric acid, or vinegar will do the job well, though.
3. We spread half of the onion husk, then the eggs and the remaining husk.
Note: this is the order that should be so that the eggs are evenly colored.
Fill with cold water so that the husk is completely covered with water. Add 1 tbsp. l. salt.
If suddenly some egg bursts, then the protein will not "escape" from the egg. But usually when you add salt, then the eggs do not burst, moreover, they are easier to clean.

4. Put the pan on the fire and bring to a boil. As it boils, reduce the heat a little (but so that the water boils) and cook the eggs for 20 minutes. Yes Yes! Exactly 20 minutes. During this time, the eggs will be colored and will be a very beautiful color. I'm not the first to do this, and I know what I'm talking about.
It took 20 minutes, we take out the eggs, wipe dry and wait until they cool down.
If you want the eggs to be glossy, then grease your hands with vegetable oil and grease the eggs.
I also used some pretty stickers.
These are such beautiful eggs. Happy Easter!
