How much I love beans! And today I want to share with you a very tasty, simple recipe for making beans. This dish can be used as an independent dish (which I do) or as a side dish. And if eaten cold, then also as a salad.
I highly recommend trying these beans. The dish turns out to be very satisfying. This is how you can cook red beans and white beans. Tasty with anyone.

I always soak beans in cold water beforehand. Everybody does that.
You can soak it overnight, or longer….
The beans will swell well and double in size.
I put the beans in a saucepan, fill them with water and put them on the fire, let them boil for a while.
I'll take care of vegetables at this time.
Finely chop the onion.
I rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
I heat up a frying pan with two tablespoons of vegetable oil and spread the onions. I cook for 5 minutes, stirring.
Then add the carrots and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The beans are boiling, I'm skimming off the foam. I always add some baking soda - ¼ part teaspoon. This will cook the beans faster and softer. I don’t salt. I add bay leaves, sweet peas and cloves. The beans will be very aromatic. I cook it until cooked. The time depends on the type of beans. I cooked for 45 minutes. It could have been even smaller, I digested a little.
I drain the liquid from the beans.
Reheat vegetables in a skillet and add beans. Now I salt and pepper to taste. Add the chopped garlic clove and stir. I cook for a couple of minutes. Then I let the dish brew for another 10 minutes.
The beans are unrealistically tasty and very aromatic. I love her. Bon Appetit!

- 200 gr. beans (dry).
- 200 gr. carrots.
- 200 gr. onions.
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil.
- Spices: 5 allspice peas, 5 cloves, 1 bay leaf, black pepper, salt.
