I decided here to order groceries with home delivery. I don't have a car, but I like to shop for a week or two. I order 6 full packages. I like having a supply of food at home. And recently I started ordering groceries with home delivery from a local store.
Everything was fine, they brought good food, fresh. This time I decided to "pamper" myself and my husband with such a wonderful fruit like mango. It is usually quite expensive and we don't buy these fruits. More and more apples, bananas, oranges. What is inexpensive and familiar to us.
There was a promotion in the store. Mango cost at a discount - 59.99 rubles apiece. I decided to buy 2 pieces. One for me and one for my husband.
As always, a woman from the store calls before delivery and collects the order. I don't know what this position is called. I clarified everything and accepted the order. Usually, when some fruits, vegetables are not very good (of those that I ordered) this girl warns me and says that you better not take it...
And then the voice is different, maybe the change is different. And this girl didn't tell me anything.
They brought the order. And first of all I began to look for mango, so I really wanted to eat it. But, when I took the bag of fruits in my hands, I immediately felt that the fruits are very soft. I opened the package and saw that there were black dots on the mangoes, and on two at once. I immediately realized that something was wrong with the fruit.
I cut and saw inside that the mangoes were really spoiled. I was very disappointed, because I really wanted to eat mango...
And it's a pity for money! 120 rubles. I could buy 2 kilograms of apples for this money.
My husband offered to call me at the store and figure it out. I did not call the direct number of the store, but called the number of the girl who collected my order.
- Hello. I just got my order to the address... (I will not give my address), in the order there are rotten mangoes, I can send you a photo, - I said.
- No, girl, don't, I believe you. Sorry, now the courier will bring you good mangoes, and you will give these to him. Just do not call the central number of the store, - the girl who collected the order told me.
I agreed, did not "raise" the scandal, I just wanted to eat a good mango. And in half an hour the courier brought me good, tasty mangoes!
But, here I am wondering why she was so scared if I called the main phone number of the store.
And it seems to me that this is how they are trying to "sniff" spoiled fruits to the buyer, and "write off" the pretty ones and take them home. Do you think my idea is sound? I just heard that people who work in grocery stores bring home "written off" products like this.
Do not be afraid to order products at home, this is how easily and simply you can solve the arisen problems with low-quality goods. Usually they bring me everything fresh and tasty.
