If you, like me, have "fussy" people in your family who do not like slices of onions and carrots in soups and other dishes, this recipe is for you)) Mackerel with cauliflower and carrot puree.
I really like this combination of tastes - salty and spicy-sweet. If you cooked fish in parchment according to my recipe, you already know how successful this combination is - cauliflower and fish. If you haven't tried it - don't hesitate - it's delicious!
Everything is very simple! I fry the chopped onion in a little oil. As usual, I add some sugar to the onion. After a couple of minutes, I send the carrots to the pan. I fry on high heat for 5-7 minutes. Let the vegetables cool slightly.
At this time, I clean the mackerel, separate the fillets from the bones and cut into convenient pieces. Salt, I let it stand for a couple of minutes. Then I roll in flour and fry over high heat for 1.5 - 2 minutes on each side. Here you do not need to bring the fish to readiness, you just need to fry it slightly.
I put the cooled vegetables in a blender bowl. I also add tomato juice and spices there. Necessarily a teaspoon of mustard (I have a spicy one). Salt to taste. Grind in a blender until puree. It takes me 40 seconds)) Here's what happens:
I disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences, cut into small pieces. I grease the form with butter, spread the cabbage, on top - vegetable puree and fried pieces of fish. I cover the form with foil and put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes. And you can serve!
