Lightly salted lard. We love this very much. Of course, you need to choose the right lard and buy it in the "right" place, so as not to worry about quality. For some reason it is difficult to find good lard lately, but it is possible. I don't salt a lot of bacon at once. I have long given up on three-liter cans and pots)) We buy bacon, I cut it into pieces and freeze it. Then I defrost a little and salt in this simplest way.

I put salt on a plate and roll a piece of bacon on all sides. Then I put it in a bag. Just salt. You can, of course, add bay leaf and garlic if you like. But we love it just like that))

Second way. Spicy and aromatic lard. I add my favorite seasoning to the salt (I usually use dry adjika), mix with salt. And in the same way I roll fat from all sides. Then I put it in a bag.

I put the bacon in bags on a plate and put it in the refrigerator for at least 36 hours. The time, of course, depends on the lard itself. But usually after 36 hours any fat is ready. It's very simple and delicious!

Trying it)) I cut off a piece, remove the salt with a knife (or you can rinse it under running cold water) and cut it.
