The recipe is very simple! It takes about 10 minutes to cook. And at the same time, you get a full-fledged dinner that can be served even to guests.
My chicken legs, I salt and add spices.
You can marinate the chicken in advance. Then this dish will be even tastier! And you don't have to use chicken drumsticks. Any part of the chicken will do.
In a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the onions and carrots until transparent. I fry for 5-7 minutes. I cut the carrots into small cubes.
On the bottom of the oiled tin, I spread the well-washed rice. On top I distribute fried onions with carrots, chopped bell peppers and green peas. I have frozen peas.
I put chicken legs and tomatoes on top. I have cherry (also from the freezer), but you can take fresh ones, of course.
I fill the rice with hot water at the rate of 1: 2. I have 2 glasses of rice and 4 glasses of water. Dissolve salt in one of the glasses of water.
I put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees.
I cook for about 1 hour. You need to look at the readiness of rice. It may take a little more or, conversely, less time.
You can cover the dish with foil - this will cook the dish faster. But about 20 minutes before cooking, the foil must be removed.
When the dish is almost ready, sprinkle the chicken drumsticks with grated cheese and leave in the oven for a few more minutes. You can serve!
