Simple and delicious lean chocolate cake. But I do not cook it only in the post. The pie turns out to be delicate, airy, with a beautiful chocolate color and rich taste. Serve with jam, honey or just like that, sprinkled with powdered sugar. You can cut such a cake into several cakes and make a delicious chocolate cake. I will share the filling for such a cake in the next article.
As always, everything is very simple. In a bowl I mix cocoa, vanillin, baking soda, sugar and a pinch of salt. Then I add the sifted flour, mix all the dry ingredients well and add the vegetable oil and vinegar (I use 9%). I always cook with vinegar. I recommend not changing anything in the recipe - the proportions are so well chosen that the cake is always made! I pour in water and mix well.
I grease the form a little with butter and spread the dough. I have a rectangular shape of 20x30 cm, but you can take, for example, round 24-26 cm. I distribute the dough and place the mold in an oven preheated to 180 ˚C for 30-40 minutes. Ovens are different for everyone, so it is better to check the pie for readiness with a wooden stick.
I take the cake out of the oven, let it cool well and cut it into portioned pieces or into cake cakes. The cake can be smeared with any thick jam or cream. On top, I usually decorate with powdered sugar using a stencil.
