An appetizer for a penny: a recipe that almost every housewife had in the 90s

Snack roll on the festive table. I think that every housewife used to have this recipe in her notebook. Very simple and inexpensive! And we used a variety of fillings (we added everything that was in the refrigerator) - processed cheese curds, liver pate, and carrot puree, and canned food, and sausage. Always delicious! And most importantly, what you can cook in advance (which is also very important before the holidays).

I send 4 eggs to the bowl. If the eggs are small, it is better to take 5.

I add mayonnaise and beat with a mixer. You can use a whisk or even a regular fork (harder, but can be done). Beat until foamy. The mass should expand well.

Grease a baking sheet with oil and pour out the dough. Size approximately 25x35 cm

I put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 10 minutes.

Today I took processed cheese for the filling. I rub it on a grater. I add garlic, herbs and a little mayonnaise. I stir it.

I take the cake out of the oven, let it cool a little and spread the filling. I distribute with a spoon. And I roll up the roll.

Then I wrap the roll with cling film and put it in the refrigerator.

Before serving, I remove the film and cut the roll into portions. The appetizer is ready!

How I prepare such a snack roll and a whole menu of budget meals for the New Year's table, I showed in the video. Take a look - you will like it.
