My children like this method very much! And on the festive table, such stuffed cabbage rolls attract more attention! Try it - it turns out very interesting 😊
Today I will cook stuffed cabbage rolls with buckwheat. I wash the buckwheat well and fill it with boiling water. Salt, bring to a boil and boil for one or two minutes. I take it off the fire. And after 4-5 minutes I drain the water. There is no need to bring buckwheat to readiness!
Grind the chicken fillet in a blender and mix it with buckwheat. You can take any minced meat or replace the meat with mushrooms (it will turn out to be no less tasty - this is how I usually cook in Lent). I add salt and black pepper to taste.
I prepared the cabbage beforehand. You can boil it in the usual way, but today I used a method of cooking cabbage for stuffed cabbage in the oven. I cut the leaves in half and cut out the hard part.
I spread the filling. Like this on the edge.
And I fold. With a tube ...
Then a ball. My children really like this shape of stuffed cabbage. They call them "snails".
In the video, I showed more clearly how I curl them. In the same place, by the way, there are 4 more recipes for stuffed cabbage (lean cabbage rolls with mushrooms, cabbage rolls with an interesting filling, lazy stuffed cabbage rolls and very lazy ones). Take a look - you'll love it!
I will not say that this method of folding cabbage rolls is faster than the one we are used to, but it looks interesting. And on the festive table, such stuffed cabbage rolls attract more attention))
I spread a few cabbage leaves at the bottom of the stewpan. And stuffed cabbage.
Chop the onion finely and fry in vegetable oil until transparent. I add grated carrots, fry for another 4-5 minutes and add tomato juice. Simmer for a few more minutes over low heat. I fill stuffed cabbage with this filling. I add another glass of boiling water and the carcass over low heat until tender (depends on the cabbage). Sometimes 20 minutes is enough, sometimes I take about an hour.
Serve with sour cream. This is delicious!
