Everyone in our family loves this dish! And in it I like not only the taste, but also the fact that I spend no more than 10 minutes on cooking! Delicious meat stewed with vegetables. Insanely delicious!
COOKING:
I cut all the vegetables not too finely. You can take any vegetables you have. I definitely use onions, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes and potatoes. You can add eggplant, any cabbage, zucchini, hot peppers, celery.
Any meat will do. I have beef today. Cut into pieces (also not finely). Like this:
At the bottom of the brazier or cauldron, I pour a little oil and spread the pieces of meat. The dishes must be thick-walled! It is important!
I put vegetables on the meat. First, the onion, cut into half rings, then the carrots. I take more onions - 4-5 onions.
Further - bell peppers and tomatoes. I have cherry tomatoes today. If I use large ones, I cut them into circles.
The next layer is eggplant, a couple of cloves of garlic (I don't peel it) and on top are potato wedges. Salt to taste, add black pepper and cover with a lid.
I turn on the maximum fire. Cook for 10 minutes and reduce heat to minimum. I leave the dish to languish for 1.5 hours. It should not boil too much! I don’t open the lid all this time! This is important too!
After 1.5 hours, add herbs (I added parsley and basil today).
I leave it under the lid on minimum heat for another 5 minutes and you can serve! Here's how much juice (I didn't add water!):
It's very, very tasty! And the preparation is very simple! The result is always amazing!
I never measure the amount of vegetables! Everything is always "by eye" and usually what is in the refrigerator. In winter I use peppers and eggplants from the freezer.
RECIPE (approximate amount of ingredients):
• Meat (I have beef, but you can do anything!) - 1.2 kg
• Potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
• Carrots - 1 pc.
• Onions - 5 pcs. (medium size)
• Sweet pepper - 2 pcs.
• Tomatoes - 2-3 pcs. medium size
• Eggplant - 1-2 pcs.
• Garlic - 2 teeth.
• Parsley
• Basil
• Ground black pepper
• Salt
