When the refrigerator is almost empty, I cook cabbage pancakes (very tasty and inexpensive)

An unusual dish made from ordinary cabbage. It is very simple to prepare, but it turns out very tasty!

Cut the cabbage and onions into small pieces and grind them in a blender. You can use a regular meat grinder. But it's easier for me this way.

I put the chopped cabbage and onions into a bowl, add salt and spices (any will do). I have a vegetable seasoning and black pepper.

I also send eggs and flour here. I stir it.

I heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and spread the cabbage "dough" to make this pancake:

The thickness of the pancake should be 5-7 mm, not thicker. If the pancake suddenly falls apart, you just need to add flour (it all depends on the juiciness of the cabbage). I'm making pancakes over low heat! On one side, fry for at least 6-7 minutes.

Then I turn it over. And I cook on the other side under the lid for at least 7 minutes. Aromaaaat!

This is delicious! And quite inexpensive. It is better to serve such pancakes (or tortillas?) With sour cream. They are delicious hot when hot. But I also like the cold.

From such pancakes for the holidays I prepare snack cakes with chicken and fried onions with carrots.

But more often I serve it as an independent dish. You can sprinkle the finished pancake with cheese and bake in the oven (if cheese, of course, is found in the refrigerator).

• Cabbage - 600 g
• Onion (small) - 1 pc.
• Eggs - 3 pcs.
• Flour - 6-7 tbsp. (may need more!)
• Ground black pepper
• Spices
• Salt
