I recently published an article in which I talked about expensive things in my kitchen, for which I did not mind paying a lot of money. In the comments to this article, you wrote about what you want to have in your kitchen, but are not yet ready to buy.
I collected all your Wishlist in a plate and looked at what most families want. Let's see what turned out to be the most desirable.
Stationary mixer
The stationary mixer took the first place. For my part, I want to say that this is a really cool gadget in the kitchen. I now have a Gorenje mixer, but my dream is a Kenwood Cooking Chef kitchen machine. This costs more than 90,000 rubles. So far, it's a pity for her money.
Dishwasher
In second place is the dishwasher. I have always believed that this is a necessary thing in any kitchen. But it's funny that I had it idle for a year and a half. I, or more often my wife, managed to wash everything myself. But when I began to cook a lot for the blog, I had to connect the car too. Now I use it all the time, but my wife still washes her hands more often, for her this is a separate type of rest.
Bread maker
But the bread maker specifically for me is a strange gadget. I perfectly understand what it is for, but I like the bread that I make by hand more. During the quarantine, bread makers became the second most bought in the world after sanitizers. And that surprised me. It turns out that people love bread and are not ready to give it up during quarantine.
Oven
A good oven is the key to delicious baked goods at home and beyond. I now have 2 ovens in my kitchen, both from IKEA and both electric. In general, I am satisfied with their work, but I would gladly replace one of them with something more modern.
French press coffee pot
When I read the comments on the last post, it seemed to me that most of all people want the same coffee pot as mine. But after counting, the coffee pot lost to the stationary mixer by a wide margin. True, I received many letters about the coffee pot asking where I bought it. You can find it in different stores, the manufacturer is Augustin Welz.
Bonus
But not so many people dream about these 2 things. 2 people dream of installing a combi steamer at home and the same number of people dream of a hairpin.
This surprised me as these 2 things look great in the workshop, but are not so practical in the home kitchen. I have a hairpin at home and I use it a lot, but I cook a lot and during the filming of recipes I constantly send dirty dishes there.
But the combi steamer at home is not very convenient, as it consumes a lot of electricity, is bulky, and does not really fit into the home interior.
