Already distributed the recipe to all my friends. They call and thank))
Of course, any salted herring will do. And salted too will turn out delicious!
But this recipe "happened" exactly when I needed to "save" a very salted herring. I rarely buy salted herring in the store (I usually salt myself), but once I bought it ...
In my short video (less than a minute) I showed and told everything:
How to cook:
Herring needs salted (not fresh!) Or lightly salted.
I clean the fish, disassemble it into fillets and remove all the bones. I cut the loan into convenient pieces.
Now I'm making the sauce. In a bowl I mix kefir, mustard and sugar. Just kefir will "take away" excess salt from salted herring.
I put the chopped onion into a suitable container (it is also very tasty, so I take a lot of onions!). The second layer is pieces of herring. And pour in the sauce.
Then again onion, herring, sauce. And the third layer is the same. Caviar and milk are also marinated - delicious then put on sandwiches))
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
• Herring (salted) - 3 pcs.
• Onions - 3 pcs.
• Kefir - 500 ml
• Sugar - 2 tbsp. (no slide)
• Mustard - 2 tbsp.
Try it! It's very, very tasty! The herring turns out to be tender, slightly piquant, and the onion... Super! Now the salted fish will definitely not disappear))
