I cook without waiting for the holiday.
I showed the recipe for this salad in the video below. There is also a herring under a fur coat from my husband and a little trick (why I grease the grater with oil before use). Look - you will like it))
How to cook
I washed the potatoes well beforehand and boiled them in salted water. There are several ways how I cook potatoes for salad, I showed here:
I peel and grate the potatoes. I like to use a fine grater more - this makes the salad more tender.
I spread the grated potatoes in the first layer. I will harvest the salad using the serving ring. But you can just lay it out in a salad bowl.
I grease the potatoes with a layer of mayonnaise. I always prepare mayonnaise myself. But the store, of course, will do (there is not much mayonnaise in the salad).
Next is a layer of herring. And green onions. You can use pickled onions instead of green ones. But more often I cook with green.
I put melted cheese on the onion (I also rub it on a fine grater). And so that the cheese does not stick to the grater, I grease the grater with oil beforehand. And then grate cheese is very simple.
Now the cucumbers. I usually use pickled ones, but can be substituted for fresh cucumber. I rub it, squeeze it lightly and - into the salad!
A little mayonnaise. And boiled eggs (also on a fine grater).
Add some mayonnaise to the eggs and decorate with green peas. I take off the ring and you can serve!
When the salad is infused, it is even tastier!
RECIPE:
• Boiled potatoes - 2-3 pcs.
• Herring - 1 pc.
• Green onions
• Processed cheese - 100 g
• Pickled or pickled cucumbers - 1-2 pcs.
• Boiled eggs - 2 pcs.
• Green pea
