Stuffed pumpkin. Amazingly tasty dish! The recipe was born by accident 😊. Once I decided to use a pumpkin instead of a clay pot. Now this is the only way I cook this dish. Guests are always delighted!

I shot the video last year, so you can already see the reviews of those who cooked it. Nobody has written that it tastes good yet! Highly recommend! And everything is prepared simply.

I cut off the cap from the pumpkin and clean everything from the inside. You can pick out a little pulp with a spoon - then the filling will fit more. But I don’t do it - the pumpkin is amazingly tasty!

I cut the meat into convenient pieces and smaller onions. You can take any meat! Once I even used mixed minced meat - no worse.

Fry pieces of meat over high heat. After a few minutes, I salt, add black pepper and onions. I cook for a few more minutes, stirring constantly.

Then I fry the potatoes. Also not for long. It is not necessary to bring to readiness! But I must fry it, otherwise it will remain solid. Salt the potatoes, add paprika. You can use any of your favorite spices.

I grease the pumpkin with butter inside.

Now I spread the filling. Slice potatoes, then some meat and pour. For pouring, you can use only sour cream or only mayonnaise, but I like sour cream + mayonnaise 1: 1. Then again potatoes, meat, filling, potatoes, meat, filling. I spread a few slices of butter on top (leaf through the photo).

It remains to add grated cheese and cover with a pumpkin lid. If there is no lid, you can sprinkle with breadcrumbs on top.

I wrap the pumpkin in foil. Better in several layers, otherwise the juice will fall on the baking sheet and burn.

I put the pumpkin in the oven for 1.5 - 2 hours. I cook at 180 degrees. Depends on the size of the pumpkin. This time I cooked for 2 hours.

The pumpkin can be left in foil until guests arrive. It is very tasty, satisfying, unusual. Everyone I treated to this dish liked it.

You can lay out on plates gently with a spoon (then all the juice will remain inside the pumpkin). But I cut like cake - we like it better.

Pumpkin stuffed with meat and potatoes:
β€’ Pumpkin - 2-2.5 kg
β€’ Potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
β€’ Meat - 400 g
β€’ Onion - 1 pc.
β€’ Sour cream - 2 tbsp.
β€’ Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp.
β€’ Butter - 80 g
β€’ Hard cheese - 100 g
β€’ Paprika - 1-2 tsp.
β€’ Ground black pepper
β€’ Salt
