Ingredients for making mackerel:

Fresh frozen mackerel - 1-2 carcasses (weighing about 500 g)
Onions - 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.
Ground black pepper - to taste
Sweet ground paprika - 0.5 tsp l. (taste)
Salt - 0.5 tsp l. (taste)
Lemon juice - 1 tsp l. (optional)

We take freshly frozen mackerel, if necessary, defrost it in the microwave on the "Defrost" mode for 5-7 minutes. If the fish remains slightly frozen, it's okay, the main thing is that it can be easily gutted and cut. You can defrost in the usual way - at room temperature, but if you have a microwave oven at hand, defrosting will take much less time. After thawing, gut the fish and cut it into pieces.

Place the chopped mackerel in a bowl, add salt, pepper, paprika, vegetable oil and lemon juice.

Mix well with your hands so that each piece of fish is covered with a fragrant mixture.

Next, peel and cut the onions into small cubes, wrinkle them slightly with your hands so that it becomes softer and the juice begins to stand out.

Now we take any suitable form that is suitable for cooking in a microwave oven (glass, ceramic, made of food-grade plastic, without metal elements) we put in it half of the total amount Luke. Lay out the pieces of fish on top.

Put the remaining onion on top of the fish and put it in the microwave. We turn on the "microwave" mode, set the power to 800 W and set the time to 6 minutes.
