Today I want to share a recipe for meat hodgepodge soup. It is ideal for an after dinner party. I used to cook the hodgepodge in a different way, but when I tried this variant of the hodgepodge as my first visit, I realized that this hodgepodge is much tastier and I need this recipe. Thanks to the neighbor, she told the recipe with all the details, the main secret of a delicious hodgepodge of a variety of meat products and necessarily 3 types of cereals.

Recipe:

Meat on the bone (pork, beef,

chicken) -1.5 kg

Water -2.5 liters

Salt -1 / 2 tsp.

Pearl barley -1 tbsp

Rice -1 tbsp.

Buckwheat -1st.l.

Onion -1pc.

Pickled cucumbers -2pcs.

Tomato paste -1 tbsp

Cucumber pickle -150ml.

Vegetable oil -2-3 tbsp

Meat delicacies (ham,

boiled and smoked sausage) - 600g.

Olives -10 pcs.

Lemon - for serving

COOKING METHOD

We take meat of 2-3 types. For example, beef and pork, pork and chicken, or beef and chicken. Or how I have 3 types of chicken, beef and pork, in general, that is. Weight 1.5 kg.

We take a large saucepan, pour water and immediately lower the meat, bring to a boil, remove the foam if necessary. I change the first water as the meat boils, boil for 5 minutes and take out the meat. I wash the meat. I pour fresh water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil and lower the meat and now cook the meat until tender over low heat. It takes me about 1.5 hours. About 20 minutes before cooking, I add half a teaspoon of salt, you don't need to add much, so that later the hodgepodge does not turn out too salty. Immediately pour 1 tbsp of boiling water into a small bowl. pearl barley and leave to swell.

Take out the finished meat from the broth. Rinse well with 1 tbsp. rice, 1 tbsp. buckwheat and 1 tbsp soaked in advance. pearl barley. Dip the cereals into the broth and leave to cook. During this time, cut into cubes 1 onion and 2 pickled cucumbers.

Pour 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil into the pan. put onions and fry until translucent, add cucumbers and fry all together 1-2 minutes, now add 1 tbsp. tomato paste, fry everything together for 30 seconds and pour in a little more than half a glass of brine from under cucumbers. We simmer everything together for 2 minutes and add to the broth.

We take meat delicacies, be sure to take at least 3 types. Ham, boiled and smoked. Total weight 600 grams.

Cut into strips. Put the slices in a dry frying pan and fry for 2-3 minutes. And immediately add to the pan. Cut the boiled meat, cut into 2 parts black olives 10 pcs. and add meat to the hodgepodge. We boil everything together for 5 minutes, add olives, taste for salt if necessary, add, turn off the heat, close the lid and leave the hodgepodge to brew.

Serve the hodgepodge with lemon wedges, sprinkle with herbs and add sour cream. And now you can enjoy this delicious hodgepodge.
